CINI

The Centro Interuniversitario Nazionale per lnformatica, a consortium of 44 public Italian universities, is one of the most significant point of reference for the national academic research activities in the fields of Computer Engineering, Computer Science, and Information Technologies. Established in 1989, CINI is under the supervision of the Italian Ministry for University and Research. Acting in a very strict cooperation with the national scientific communities, the Consortium promotes and coordinates scientific activities of research and technological transfer, both basic and applicative, in several fields of Computer Science and Computer Engineering.

In OPTICS2, CINI:

• Contributes to the projects assessment and to the development of the state-of-the-art security EU research,
• Supports the organisation of stakeholders’ engagement activities,
• Contributes to the dissemination activities.
